Hang Loose

Writer's picture: Luke MillerLuke Miller

There is a sweet kindergarten girl in the room across the hall from me at school that drops me the ‘hang loose’ (thumb and pinky extended from an outstretched fist), everytime I see her in the halls. I always return the gesture and we both smile like buffoons.

I dropped that same ‘hand sign’ with an accounting colleague today… no response.

Too grown up I guess.

When I gave her a hard time about not waving she said (jokingly).

“I guess life has beaten me down too much”… Yikes.

Goofy salutations can be a great way to spread good vibes, boost energy, and let people know that they are seen.

We are never too grown-up to spread positivity and cheer.

  • Now that’s a peak ethos.
