High vibration energy

A Megan Maroney concert gave us the excuse to visit Seattle over the long weekend. In the months leading up to the concert we learned her tunes, found our favorites, and let the excitement build. 

Having attended many concerts over the years, I was taken aback by the quality of the show and how different it was than most other shows. 

90% of the stadium was 15 to 25 year old females, dressed in matching pink outfits, versed in all the lyrics, and super excited. The youthful vitality was palpable, and the energy was crackling.

There was very little alcohol or debauchery, yet the volume was raucous, the fun evident, and I found it to be one of my favourite events.

When asked about the concert, I found it hard to articulate why it was so different from most other shows, but all I could land on was the fact that the energy felt ‘different’. 

Something about young, happy, good-spirited camaraderie that I can best classify as ‘high-vibration’ energy. 

The buzz of people loving life, enjoying the moment, and singing along to absolutely every song.

Maybe it's the soft 46-year-old dad in me, or maybe a sea of pink outfits would bring out the best in anyone, but what a great way to spend a summer night in Seattle.
