Have more fun

Vegreville got pummeled by a late March blizzard this week, with inches of heavy wet snow, blowing into mountainous snow drifts, multiple feet high.
While the grown-ups in my world are grumbling about the insane road conditions, the cold Spring temperature, and the general challenges that come with a deluge of heavy snow,
Cosmo, our seven month old Jack-Russell is enjoying his best life.
Running at full speed through the fresh powder, plunging head first into snow banks, and scuttling after the small prey hidden below, life couldn’t be more fun.
I watched his escapades with admiration, relearning one of life’s most valuable lessons.
There is joy all around us, excitement waiting to be enjoyed, if only we could shift our perspective to embrace whatever life throws our way.
I am recommitting to taking life a little less seriously, and finding a lot more fun.
Now that’s a peak ethos.
