Watching Hazel dream up a new magic trick, run through thirty iterations, add props and improvements, then demonstrate it multiple times, is a lesson in both patience and OCD.
It is also a masterclass in Creativity.
Hazel’s magic trick ‘wizardry’ coincided perfectly with some recent conversations I was having about leadership, and great leader attributes.

Humour indicates open-mindedness, flexible thinking, and high intelligence. Funny people are adept at reading others and situations, and above all they exude creativity.

Adult creativity is in short supply, so foster your inner ‘creative’ and cherish those innovators around you.
Creativity is magic and the world needs more of it.
Now that’s a peak ethos.
