Unpredictable wins

Writer's picture: Luke MillerLuke Miller

It turns out that a magnetic dartboard which my daughters were not using ended up being the centrepiece of my classroom over the past six months.

I hung it up at the front of my room thinking it would get the odd game or two, never once imagining that it would be played dozens of times per day, drawing kids from the halls, with some even keeping tallies of wins and losses.

Amazingly they never seemed to tire of it.

I could never have predicted the success.

These darts proved the perfect anecdote for the value of experimentation.

Iterate and experiment. You may be surprised at what works.

  • Now that’s a peak ethos.
