I’ve always had a healthy appreciation and respect for law enforcement.
Maybe it's empathy towards people who do thankless work on a daily basis, dealing with the worst part of society, so the rest of us can carry on living life protected, and free of fear.
Interestingly, this week our brand new patio furniture ‘walked away’ from the SkyStone patio at one in the morning. Our call to the RCMP the next day was an example of perfect customer service.
They checked our tapes, recognized the suspect instantly, and followed up.
The best part of the story was that they even hauled it home for us…talk about radical hospitality… white glove service at its finest.
It turns out that the furniture simply “showed up” in the suspect's backyard, so it was all just one big misunderstanding… phew!
Just one more example of “what you put into the world, you always receive”.
My gratitude and empathy toward the police continues to be at an all time high,
And no surprise, they continue to impress.
Now that’s a peak ethos.
