Gimmicks

Nature kindergarten, fifteen different high school class options, and the red ‘cheese whiz’ toast I made for Hazel this morning.

Gimmicks make me cringe. Shocking little adjustments that draw attention for a brief time, distracting from the core product or service.

Do it right, do it with care, and focus on those you serve.

Gimmicks may get you five extra bites this morning, but red toast is unsustainable, unhealthy and likely the wrong habit to embrace.

Beware of gimmicks, good work never requires their use.
