Celebrate catching the glass

I watched Olive make a last minute grab of her toppling wine (juice) glass last night and

observed how fun it was to celebrate the ‘almost mishap’.

I then recalled how frequently I over-dramatize the spilled milk, pop, popcorn, etc. etc.

It is too easy to let little ‘spills’ (literal or figurative) take centre-stage and often even ruin our mood.

It felt so good to intentionally celebrate a simple win.

“Awesome catch Olive!”

As we all enjoyed the mild dopamine rush of an averted clean-up.

Put a little more intention into noticing your ‘wins’.
